Course contents
The workshop will discuss the interventions to homelessness.
The workshop is structured as a theoretical and practical study. It'll be studied the most recent models of intervention, especially those in the Bologna area.
The following topics will be explored:
- introduction to poverty;
- introduction to homelessness;
- street education and proximity
- actions to homeless people;
- network;
- the construction of a personalized inclusive project for adults.
These aspects will be analyzed in the classroom, through group work and common activities.
Readings/Bibliography
There are no mandatory textbooks. Materials will be provided during the course of the workshop and made available in the virtual space.
Scientific material in both Italian and English will be used.
Teaching methods
Short theoretical presentations followed by cooperative learning groups; group exercises and presentation of results; role-playing games; video screenings; and discussions with experts from the field.
Assessment methods
The evaluation criteria used will be active participation in the workshop and individual contribution to group work.
The assessment of the workshop, which requires mandatory attendance for at least 20 out of 24 hours, will be based on the judgments "adequate" or "not adequate".
