Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student must know the most frequent hypotheses of professional responsibility in the nursing and midwifery field and the related methods of prevention, communication and management.

Course contents

Professional responsibility definitions and basic concepts. -Analyze the reference legislation in relation to professional responsibility of the clinical, organizational and managerial nature of the nursing and midwifery profession. - Legal and responsibility profiles of the nursing and midwifery profession in relation to organizational functions and complexity. -Implications on professional responsibility at a clinical, healthcare and organisational-management level, introduced by Law 8 March 2017, n. 24: "Provisions regarding the safety of care and of the assisted person, as well as regarding the professional responsibility of those practicing healthcare professions".

The student will have to carry out a written exam with the preparation of a project work on the implications of professional responsibility aimed at the most frequent hypotheses in the nursing and obstetric field and the actions necessary to implement the relevant prevention, communication and management methods at a clinical and/or healthcare level. or organizational-managerial.
