Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must have the knowledge and skills to understand the work processes of healthcare organizations, personnel management strategies, professional evaluation and accreditation systems in order to promote the integration of nursing teams in services and midwives with other professionals to achieve safe, effective, efficient, relevant, culturally sensitive services that are appropriately documented and delivered by competent personnel.

Nursing management and organizational skills Elements of organization Conceptual models and theories Elements of knowledge of the nursing organizational context: aging of the nursing population, multigenerational nurses, turnover Elements of knowledge of the healthcare context: reorganization of hospitals, the departmental model and intermediate care Organizational models of Care Departments Personnel selection staff evaluation

Assessment methods

Formative evaluation: exercises and case analysis. Summative assessment: multiple choice written test that demonstrates knowledge of the topics covered. Furthermore, problem solving and decision-making skills will be assessed as part of the answer to the open question which, at the student's discretion, can be completed. The test is considered passed with a minimum score of 18/30 and the completion of the open question which could determine the honors. The test will be carried out according to the indications contained in the University regulations and according to any other indications provided by the Academic bodies.
