31125 - Professional Skills Laboratory: Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Sciences II (G.D)

Academic Year 2023/2024

Course contents

The workshop focuses on the analysis of self-assessment tools useful for supporting, in adult training contexts, processes of self-reflection and improvement in relation to strategic competences for lifelong learning and professional practice.

In particular, through the proposed contents and activities, the workshop aims to promote:

  • a reflection on adult learning processes and on the concept of adult as "self-directed learner";
  • a reflection on strategic competences that are fundamental for effectively dealing with learning and working situations and for managing the continuous process of one's own personal and professional development in a lifelong learning perspective;
  • the analysis of specific standardized tools for the self-assessment of these strategic competences;
  • the acquisition of skills related to the use of these tools (from administration to analysis and return of results).

Implications related to the use of the tools examined for the design of training paths aimed at promoting the improvement of strategic competences will also be analyzed and discussed.
