95772 - LABORATORIO DI GEOMATICA P

Academic Year 2023/2024

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student acquires the skills to perform topographical surveys using classical and new instruments like GNSS, Laser Scanning, and digital photogrammetry). The course will treat practical session for aquiring data and data processing.

Course contents

The course has a strongly practical and applied emphasis. The main tools necessary for professional surveying practice will be examined, including:

  • levels and rods;
  • total stations;
  • GNSS receivers;
  • laser scanners;
  • drones for photogrammetry.

The main constructive and theoretical aspects, related to operational practice and processing of measurements, will be recalled for each kind of instrumentation.

Several practical field exercises will be carried out, including related sessions of measurement design and subsequent processing of measured data.

Elevation, planimetric and three-dimensional surveys will be considered, both for coordinate alignment and detailed surveying, to solve common problems in professional practice.
