Learning outcomes
The student acquires MRI techniques to produce high-quality images in osteoarticular MRI.
Course contents
Notes on the indications for MRI examinations of the joints, musculoskeletal districts and vertebral specus
Preparing the patient for the MRI examination, indications and contraindications
Basics of MRI equipment
Main diagnostic techniques and protocols in the musculoskeletal field.

Teaching methods
Lectures and discussion of cases in the classroom.
Assessment methods
Oral interview during which the student is invited to discuss the topics covered in the recommended texts for study and in the teaching material presented and discussed during the lessons.
The interview will be evaluated on the basis of the following parameters:
- knowledge, mastery and in-depth study of the contents;
- critical and expository skills;
- Technical-scientific terminological correctness.
