Learning outcomes

At the end of the teaching module the student knows the main theoretical frameworks and communication techniques useful in interpersonal relations, that is to say awareness of him/herself and of the others, assertiveness and emotional balance.

Course contents

Teaching will be focused on relational and emotional dynamics in interaction. Specifically the following topics will be addressed:

- motivations and functions of relations

- Transactional Analysis

- active listening, empathy and awareness

- assertiveness and emotions

Teaching methods

Presential lessons, critical discussion of self-perception and self- evaluation tests, simulation exercises  

Assessment methods

The examination test consists in a multiple choice battery of questions. It is given in presence

Erasmus and other exchange programs students are kindly requested to mail the professors (Prof. Galatolo and Lorenzetti) to fix a date for an oral examination
