Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the student has knowledge of the major neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood and adolescence with a focus on the Eating Disorders  approach

Course contents

- Eating disorders (DCA) in the child

- Eating disorders (DCA) in the adolescent

- Epilepsy with special reference to the ketogenic diet

- Headache

- Cerebral palsy in children
- Rare neurological diseases in the pediatric age group

- Neuromuscular diseases

- Intellectual disability and autism

Teaching methods

Lectures of 2 hours each for a total of 12 hours

The end-of-course examination aims to assess the achievement of the learning objectives
