Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student has knowledge, as far as he is competent, relating to the field of psychiatry, medical psychopathology, psychosomatics, psychotherapy, psychiatric pharmacotherapy, psychiatric aspects of medical psychology and social psychiatry.

Teaching methods

Traditional classes.
Teacher-led discussion on clinical cases.

Assessment methods

Test with 20 multiple choice quizzes distributed among all the topics covered in class. Each correct answer is worth 1.5 point, while the wrong answer does not give a score. The test is considered to have been passed with 12 correct answers.

Thirty with distinction is conferred on the basis of a collegial evaluation of the grade of the 3 courses that make up the integrated course.

Presentations of the lessons in PowerPoint. Material provided during lectures. The material is available to students and can be downloaded from a dedicated online space (https://virtuale.unibo.it).
