Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student knows the bio-molecular bases of the control of hormonal secretion and of the growth of endocrine glands. Student also learnes pathophysiology and diagnostic approach of different diseases
Course contents
The topics of the course will be neuroendocrinology, thyroid, diabetes, adrenal and gonads; the significance and limit of the laboratory in the diagnosis and cure of endocrinological diseases.

Frontal teaching using slides. Interactive sessions focused on the discussion of clinical cases
