Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student is able to recognize, address and solve diagnostic problems related to complex implant-prosthetic cases, in particular the student is able to know the prosthetic problems related to the insertion of osseointegrated implants, he knows how to formulate a correct implant treatment plan , knows how to plan the execution of diagnostic templates, knows their correct use, is able to recognize the components of the main implant systems on the market.
Course contents
The planning of the prosthesis on implants: diagnosis and treatment plan-operative phases; load protocols on plants; implant components; the impression in prostheses on implants; single tooth rehabilitation on implants; the partially edentulous patient; the total edentulous patient; the provisional prosthesis before implant connection; functional occlusion in implantology; materials in implant prostheses: from single tooth to full arch; dental office-dental laboratory workflow: standard vs digital.
