Course contents
Seminar held by dr. Héctor Rodríguez de la O
The seminar has the dual purpose of providing useful tools for understanding the multiple social realities and related problems starting from their filmic representations and at the same time offering minimal skills in the organization and planning of a cultural event in its distinct phases.
Presentation of a thematic film club of 3/4 works by the students of the Bachelor's or Master's Degree Course.
The work will consist of both the actual organization of the event and the designs, presentations, projections and subsequent debates on the works presented to the public.
Presentations can be held in Spanish, but also in Italian, as well as the possible creation, translation or revision of the translation of the subtitles (in the event that they are necessary and are not available in the language requested).
Student work should be done in groups of 4 or 5 people per film. Each group will produce an original text of approximately 1500 words designed as a brochure for the presentation of the work. In addition to this, they will also design the dissemination material of the film club, posters and various advertising both for the notice boards of the Department / University and on social networks and / or institutional websites.
