Teaching methods
Lessons, seminars and conferences given by external scholars.
It is strongly recommended to attend the lessons; non attending students are bound to prepare extra texts readings.
Assessment methods
The exam consists of an oral test. The knowledge of the individual topics covered during the course, the ability to contextualize cultural and literary phenomena and to identify elements of originality in the texts studied, the ability to personally and critically re-elaborate the reference bibliography and the language properties will be evaluated with top marks. A competence in the contents of the manuals without any interpretative support will be evaluated with a positive but not high mark. Training gaps, superficial analyses, inappropriate and confused language will make the evaluation insufficient.
Teaching tools
Multimedia resources (films, audio and image projection, PowerPoint, weblinks).
