84689 - Labour Law (Introductory Course)

Learning outcomes

Know the basics of labor law and health legislation.

Course contents

The course will focus on the following thematic areas:

1. Historical genesis, principles and sources of labor and labor law in public administrations.

2. Elements of trade union law

3. The employment relationship (Meeting between demand and supply of labor - Establishment of the relationship - The legal forms of work - Flexible contract types - The employment contract; The obligations of the worker - The powers of the employer - The working hours - suspension of the employment relationship - termination of the relationship)

Readings/Bibliography

The bibliographic material will be communicated directly in class.

Teaching methods

The course will take place through lectures that will cover the different thematic areas referred to under the heading Programs / contents.

Assessment methods

The exam will take place through an interview, aimed at verifying the acquisition of knowledge, which is divided into several questions, concerning the aforementioned program.

Teaching tools

 

In support of the teaching, the platform can be used

- TEAMS for distance learning- The IOL platform can be used to support teaching
