Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student knows: - the different types of individual sports; - classifications and key features to define the performance model and her applied in educational, recreational and sports - the importance of athletics as base activities for the development of skills of running, jumping and throwing; regulations, equipment and techniques of athletics, relatively early-stage, and is able to choose appropriate teaching progressions.
Course contents
Definition of the theoretical performance model.
Classification of sports: the different theories.
Practical examples of sports that are classified differently.
The concept of transversality of the means of training.
The Performance in Athletics: performance model, regulations,
theory and teaching.
- Sprinting and running: practical exercises and theoretical
aspects.
- Hurdles: practical exercises and theoretical aspects.
- Throwing: practical exercises and theoretical aspects.
- Jumping: practical exercises and theoretical aspects.
- Decathlon ed Eptathlon.
Regulation and theory of the individual sports, expecially in the
following disciplines:
- Rock climbing
- Cycling
- Judo
- Fencing
- Skiing
- Tennis.
