Foreign language assistants

Foreign language assistants are figures available to students and teaching staff in all Schools at the university, each representing their own country of origin. They provide a range of services, including guidance on mobility opportunities abroad for studying and research, cooperation for language exams and support in the updating of teaching materials.

Foreign language assistants play a very important role in the cultural relations between Italy and the foreign countries in the University's internationalisation process. In addition to qualified teaching on the language and culture of their countries of origin, foreign language assistants promote the culture of their own countries, coordinating cultural and scientific initiatives including conferences, film events, research projects, seminars, exhibitions and translations of Italian authors. Through the active role of the language assistants, many of these initiatives are presided by foreign personalities or are organised in partnership with foreign institutions.

 

Bulgarian foreign language assistant

Activities: Teaching of Bulgarian language and culture; organization and promotion of various events, talks, and visits, facilitating the intercultural exchange between Bulgaria and Italy.

 

French language assistant

Activities: teaching French Language at the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures; meetings with students and teachers, advice about study and research in France. Meeting and cultural activities for the promotion of the Language and culture in France.

 

German foreign language assistant

Slovak foreign language assistant

Cultural activities aimed at the promotion of Slovak language. Collaboration with the Slovak Embassy, the Cultural Institute of Rome and Honorary Consulate (Forlì). Coordination of  the activities of the theatre group in Slovak language.

 

Spanish foreign language assistant
