Assessment methods
This course is part of a larger, integrated course. The overall mark on the integrated course is a weighted average of the marks obtained on single component courses. Weights are proportional to credits:
- Assistenza Territoriale e Continuità Assistenziale: 3;
- Economia Aziendale: 2;
- Organizzazione Aziendale: 2;
- Sistemi di Elaborazione delle Informazioni Sanitarie: 1;
- Sociologia dei Processi Economici e del Lavoro: 2.
Exams take place in sessions. Each session entails two calls. Grades are kept from the first to the second call of each session, but they expire across sessions.
The exam of Organizzazione Aziendale consists of an essay. Two pages is the minimum length. This essay should be written at home and delivered by e-mail. Deadline is the day of the exam Organizzazione Aziendale, not the day when the averaged grade of the integrated course is recorded.
This essay should establish a link between the theories illustrated in class and real life. Sources of inspiration include personal experiences, or experiences of other persons, or stories found in books, films or newspapers, or even the product of pure invention provided that they are sufficiently realistic.
Topics are not necessarily constrained to work experiences. The essay should entail many details on practical life.
The essay should be related to the topics discussed in this course. Please ask yourselves: "If I did not attend/studied this course, would I have written my essay in exactly the same way?" The answer must be a clear "No."
Grades are awarded with the following criteria:
- 18-22 for sufficient preparation and sufficient analytical capabilities expressed in a correct language.
- 23-26 for a technically adequate preparation and articulate analytical capabilities expressed with the appropriate terminology.
- 27-29 for a deep knowledge of the topics illustrated in this course, substantial capabilities of expressing critical assessments, mastery of specific terminology.
- 30-30+honors for a particularly deep knowledge of the topics illustrated in this course, substantial capabilities of expressing critical assessments and drawing connections between issues and topics even in other courses or disciplines, mastery of specific terminology.
