Learning outcomes

After a general introduction on some Visual Communication issues, the course will concentrate on visual communication of identities, - of persons and places, and more cursorily of groups, institutions and brands.

Course contents

Narratives of people and places using images and texts.

Charlotte Linde Life stories (Oxford Oxford UP 1993).

Other materials will be suggested in class.

Teaching methods

Lectures, students' presentations and discussions on previously selected materials.

 

Assessment methods
