Learning outcomes
To apply the economic and managerial knowledge to a simulation of the business reality in order to experience several business situations, and to gain decision-making skills and apply the concepts of integration and coordination.
Course contents
The contents consist of the analysis and the decisions required to manage, in simulator mode, a company committed to compete in the market of household appliances.
Students have to address and solve business problems and decisions under time pressure and urgency.
The program is divided into eight successive rounds, each of ones requires (1) an analysis of the market situation and the effectiveness of previous choices, (2) a formal decision.
At the end of each round and after the eighth one there will be a summary session in which the overall situation of the market together with the effectiveness of the different variables will be analyzed.
Teaching methods
The teaching method is based on a simulation model, localized on a website, and on the drafting of accompanying reports related to every decision.

The assessment is based on

- the economic performaces
- the scores assigned by the software to the teams
- the evaliuations made by the teacher in the analysis of results
