Course contents

Topics covered in first part will be: definition and illustration of the field of political communication; the relationship between political systems and media systems; political language; political marketing; new media and politics.

Topics covered in the second part: electoral systems, elections, parties and government.

Assessment methods

Written text with open ended and multiple choice questions.

Students who attend regularly the course may participate in class presentations (that allow them to improve their grade up to three points). This option will be activated depending on the number of students attending classes.

Students who intend to attend courses and give oral presentation should be enrolled in a list during the first two weeks of the course. After that date students are no more added to the list.
