- Legal status of fauna
- International, european and national legislation
- Definition of wildlife with differences between domestic, non-domestic and dangerous animal.
- Capture: concepts and description of instruments and techniques.
- Tele anesthesia: description of materials and drugs used and their clinical pharmacology;
- Description of the anatomy and physiology of anesthesia injection sites for several species
- Stress physiology in wildlife during transport.
- First Aid: Recovery of injured animals.

Special Section
BIRD: catching techniques in different species and recovery in case of injured animals.

Teaching tools

Frontal lessons + power point presentations will use with pictures and videos for a better understanding of the operation of instruments used and the direct view of the various techniques of capture, especially in the second part of the course
