Academic Year 2013/2014

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Telecommunications Engineering (cod. 0932)

Learning outcomes

Objective: The main  concepts for the design criteria of analog and digital communication systems are introduced. The fundamentals  concerning transmission on bandpass channel in a real environment and basic ideas on multiple access techniques are provided. Finally some application examples such as digital radio links, satellite systems, short range wireless communication  and mobile networks are investigated.

Seminars are included in the lectures by inviting experts from Telecommunication industry.
