Course contents

There are many depictions of children and families transmitted today by studies  and research as well as  by  the media.  The plural images which emerge about childhood and families are often contradictory; they go to nursing interventions and carelessness (up to various forms of violence) and to couple and family relationships for greater commitment and awareness, but also for crisis and disorientation.

The course offers the analysis and reflection on the complexity of the condition of children and families in the contemporary context and the individuation of educational  prospects and pedagogical support, with particular reference to social services addressed to zero-six age range.

During the course we will analyse the basic texts with moment of deepening and discussion. Attending students will work in groups. They will submit reports on issues related to the course and agreed in class.
