Academic Year 2010/2011

  • Teaching Mode: E-learning
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production (cod. 0966)

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course students will learn the techniques adopted by screenwriters to create incisive screenplays and will acquire the theoretical tools useful to analyze the narrative structure and its various parts in a completed film.

Course contents

This coursespecifically addresses to the STUDENTS WHO CANNOT ATTEND CLASSES AND LABORATORIES. Online teaching allows indeed these students to get easily in touch with the course tutor, to collaborate with other students through forums and Wikipedia exercises and to examine video and other multimedia resources. This way students can benefit from the same advantages of a traditional laboratory course.

The course offers the chance to learn actively and dynamically the skills which are necessary to read and understand cinematographic texts through the lens of the knowledge and the craft related to the techniques of screenwriting. This is a theoretical course but it takes advantage of the potentialities of the Internet to guarantee a high degree of interactivity through practical exercises, multimedia and hypertextual links that students can use to exercise and verify their learning process.
