Occupational Medicine: general background and evolution of working conditions. Occupational accidents and diseases.

Occupational Medicine and Global Health: impact and prevention of occupational pathologies in developing countries.

Risk factors in the working environment (physical, chemical, biological agents, biomechanical and relational factors).

Risk Assessment: contents and methodology.

Auditory and extraauditory effects of exposure to noise.

Biological effects of occupational exposure to radiations.

Lung diseases due to dusts and other chemical agents: occupational asthma and pneumoconiosis.

Work-related skin diseases: occupational dermatitis.

Poisoning by pesticides and solvents.

Occupational infections.

Lung cancers and other work-related neoplasias.

Spinal pathology due to biomechanical overload.

Upper limb diseases due to exposure to biomechanical risk factors.
