Course contents

The course develops and applies the analytical tools of Economics of Information and Agency Theory to the understanding of the resource transfer from final investors to firms, real investment and financial asset prices. It develops the understanding of:

i) credit rationing and underinvestment;

ii) financial markets equilibrium under incomplete information;

iii) credit cycles  and asset price bubbles.
