Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will have specific knowledges and will be able to use advances metodologies in the field of the classical military history, from the homeric age to the late antiquity. He will be able to identify, on the basis of the different sources' analysis, the leading role of the war in the classical society, also in the anthropological perspective.  He will able to appreciate the value of cooperation between different disciplines and to choose opportunities and instruments to get himself up-to-date.
