System for automatic emergency management

When an emergency situation occurs, it is important that witnesses are able to: i) gather as much information as possible; ii) call a number specific to the type of emergency; and iii) provide to the operators as much details as possible. However, due to the delay in this procedure, detailed information on the emergency is usually lost. Thanks to the evolution towards enhanced broadband communication systems (as, e.g., 5G), communication services based on video, audio, and text signals, as well as terminals’ location, are now available and they can be exploited by means of Artificial Intelligence algorithms to enhance the safety in public areas or factories.

The invention concerns an integrated system for the automatic management of emergency situations (e.g., terrorist attack, natural disaster, everyday crimes, incidents, etc.) that: i) harmonises citizens and operators; and ii) allows to collect and transmit as much information as possible immediately after the event. This will provide benefits in terms promptness of intervention and effectiveness of the rescue teams. The invention is based on app for any mobile communication device and a centralized server, which is in charge of managing the communications and the information related to the event (store, elaboration, forward to Public Safety Answering Points). The aim of this invention is to efficiently manage emergency situations, increasing the synergy and cooperation among the involved actors and first responders in order to enhance the public safety.
