Censis ranking

The Censis ranking of Italian universities rewards Unibo with the first position among Italian mega-universities (with more than 40,000 students) for the eleventh year in a row.

The reason behind this national record resides in Unibo's commitment to student services and opportunities. Unibo received high scores also in the indicators evaluating its internationality, quality of facilities, attention to communication and digital services.

The University of Bologna is the only mega-university that scored more than 90 points in the overall evaluation (91.5 is the final average, an improvement from last year's 90.8). This overall evaluation also considers scholarships, student service quality as well as employability indicators, such as the percentage of students obtaining a job one year from their MA.

"We're very pleased to see that the University of Bologna confirmed its first position among Italian mega universities. Rankings can be very useful in guiding students' university choices", comments the Rector Francesco Ubertini. "In recent years, we have worked hard on both our internationality and quality of teaching: this result encourages us to follow this direction. We will, therefore, increase opportunities and services for our students".
