Transfer from another university

General information

Pursuant to Article 29 paragraph 10 of the "Gelmini" Law on. 240/2010, transfers between Universities are permitted only for permanent researchers.

For professors, the procedure relative to the "calls" as laid down in Italian Law no. 240/2010 apply.

Transfers are approved by Rector's Decree.

The transfer implies no interruption of the employment relationship: the transferred researcher maintains his/her seniority and all previous working conditions.

When taking place during the academic year, the transfer requires an agreement between the two universities (Law no. 370/99, art. 6 paragraph 1).

Documents to be presented for transfer

The researchers are contacted by the Careers offices concerning the presentation of all documentation necessary for the transfer, particularly concerning:

• Self-certification pursuant to art.  46 of D.P.R. 445 dated 28/12/2000;
• Payment of the salary.
