Course contents

The teaching will be articulated in 2 lessons of 6 hours each, for a total of 12 hours (1 cfu).

The program will deal with all areas of interest for the Speech Therapist who is taking care for the patient with serious TCE, from his entrance to the rehabilitation department, the "outpatient care" phase, until his dismissal.

Therefore, the rehabilitation of dysphagia, of dysarthria and of language will be covered, and dealt in a teamwork perspective. The program will be adapted to meet the students' needs considering the knowledge they have already acquired. The program does not only supply theoretical basis, but also useful means for daily practice of rehabilitation.
