Thesis Request Procedure (Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees)

Students are informed that, due to the high number of theses I supervise, I am not able to accept thesis proposals from students who have not taken exams with me.

Furthermore, I do not accept thesis proposals that are not submitted at least 8 months in advance (Master’s degree) and 5 months in advance (Bachelor’s degree) with respect to the intended graduation session.

For those who have already agreed on a thesis: it is essential to keep me periodically informed about the progress of your work. For instance, if you skip the planned graduation session without informing me of the reasons that led to the postponement, I reserve the right to withdraw my availability as your thesis supervisor.

Finally, again due to the high number of theses I supervise, I am unable to accommodate requests from students coming from other degree programmes. Therefore, I only accept theses from students enrolled in DAMS, CLAM, SdC, FAST.

To propose a thesis, students should prepare a short abstract presenting the topic they intend to address (about 20 lines), accompanied by a draft outline and a bibliography of at least 5–10 sources (books or articles) as a starting point.
