Research

The classification of research issues corresponds to the definition of research activity for the SSD ING-IND/17, as proposed by the MURST - Decreto Settori Scientifico Disciplinari Allegato B (D.M. 4 ottobre 2000):
  1. Analysis, planning, design and optimization of industrial plants and production systems (both manufacturing and service sectors)
  2. Analysis, planning, design and optimization of technical service plants for industrial activities
  3. Analysis, planning, design and optimization of production processes and technologies
  4. Ergonomics and safety in production systems
  5. Management of production systems
  6. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  7. Automation in production systems
A special research international project is on food supply chain - FSC (http://foodsupplychain.diem.unibo.it), sustainability and life cycle assessment in logistics and FSC.
