Short Bio

Researcher in Didactics and Special Education. Member of the Centre for Educational Research on Teachers as Professionals (CRESPI) at the University of Bologna. For years she has promoted environmental education and sustainability education processes in schools and childcare services with an attention to the role that the adult plays in these from an educational and didactic point of view. The focus is on the identification of innovative training approaches, from the perspective of the ricerca-formazione.The topics currently being researched are:
  • Professionalism and education for sustainability: perceptions, experiences and practical actions of educators and teachers involved in paths of outdoor education or education in the nature
  • Empirical research in schools and childcare services aimed at investigating the ways in which external spaces are used, reflection processes on children's needs, interests and competences and in teacher’s needs, emotion and competence.
  • Ricerca formazione to rethink the role of teachers and reflect on the skills needed to teach in learning contexts outside the classroom.
  • Professionalism and emotional skills.
