Michela Schenetti

Professor in Didactics and Education for Embodiment and Sustainability, she holds the ASN Qualification for the position of Full Professor. She serves as a national research evaluator for the VQR 2020–2024. For many years, she has been promoting ecological education pathways in early childhood services and schools, with particular attention to the educational and pedagogical role of adults. A strong focus on teacher education and professional reflection has consistently characterised her perspective; for this reason, she is a member of the CRESPI Research Centre. Her main research interests also include educational innovation, learning environments, and outdoor education. She is Director of the Advanced Training Course “Designing Inclusive Outdoor Spaces”, Editor-in-Chief of the journal INFANZIA, and Scientific Director of the Research Centre on Active Teaching Methods at the University of Bologna and of the National Network of Outdoor Schools. She also serves as a consultant to the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO on Ocean Literacy and Blue Education and is the author of numerous publications on these topics.
