ERASMUS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: written report replacing laboratories
According to the degree course dispositions, Erasmus International Students are not required to take part to the transversal laboratory and to a disciplinary laboratory in order to take the Elements of Biology, Elements of Chemistry and Ecology and/or Elements of Physics and Teaching Physics exam. Conversely, those Erasmus International Students who inserted Elements of Chemistry and Ecology and/or Elements of Physics and Teaching Physics in their study plan will hand in a written report planning a didactic activity focusing on the properties and peculiarities of water which shall include a series of experimental classes (planned either for pre-primary or primary school students). This report, which will replace the laboratories, can be writer either in Italian or in English, it must not exceed 5 pages in length, and should include the following sections:
- Title
- School context (indicate which class the course is addressed to)
- Placement in the curriculum (skills development targets at the end of the pre-primary or primary school based on the National Curriculum Guidelines and relevant to the path to be developed).
- Learning goals
- Planned activities and methodologies (e.g., materials, instruments, timing, strategies, observation sheets)
- Evaluation (indicate an example of a tool with which to verify the achievement of goals)
A written text must be sent in a single e-mail to all the Professors for Elements of Chemistry and Ecology and Elements of Physics and Teaching Physics at least 10 days before the examination day.
The assessment will affect examination’s assessment, by adding or subtracting a point (or by leaving it unaffected) to the grade of Elements of Chemistry and Ecology and Elements of Physics and Teaching Physics, if the Erasmus International Students participates to both courses; this will be carried out for a single course, if the Erasmus International Student participates to one of the two course. In case the written text is not handed in, a point will be substracted from the relevant exam grade.
