Real Time Control Systems
The main research activities are framed in the areas of robotics
and real-time control systems.
In robotics, the research interest is focused on dexterous
manipulation (development of articulated hands, sensors, control of
grasp and manipulation tasks), on control of telemanipulation
systems, of haptic systems, of mobile robotics. Applications are in
industry, space, medicine.
Research in the real-time control systems area concerns: nonlinear
control, passive control, modelling and control of port-Hamiltonian
systems, development of hw/sw real time controllers, motion
