Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired contents and methodologies useful for effectively communicating the knowledge and languages of modern art history in an educational environment
Course contents
The course aims to suggest a broader approach to the teaching of modern art history that goes beyond the limits imposed by the more traditional school manuals.
To this end, an attempt will be made to reason about the multiple methodological possibilities inherent in the discipline, both through the in-depth study of certain macro-themes (techniques and materials; gender identity; forms and functions; contexts and spaces; socio-cultural paradigms), and through the presentation of individual case studies
