Learning outcomes
The student will be able to know the principles of clinical neurology. He/she will be informed on the basis of neuroanatomy, of neurology semeiotics, and on the main/common neurological disorders.
Course contents
Anatomy and physiology of the nervous system
Nervous system pathophysiology: motion, sensation and coordination
Approach to the neurological patient
Central nervous system disorders: multiple sclerosis, vascular disorders, epilepsy, neurodegenerative disorders
Peripheral nervous system disorders: motor neuron disorders, neuropathies, myopathies, miastenic syndromes
