Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students can: - understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. - deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. - produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. - describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Course contents

GRAMMAR, PHONOLOGY, AND VOCABULARY

  • vocabulary: urban spaces, transport, time and seasons, weather, numbers, colors, everyday objects and life, housing, health, food, sport, geography, family, economic transactions, entertainment, environment, culture, traveling, labor, history, politics, literature
  • main phonological and orthographic aspects of the Argentinian standard variety of Spanish;
  • grammar: modo indicativo - presente indicativo (verbi regolari e irregolari); tener (descriptivo)/haber (impersonal); ser/estar; tener que/tener ganas de; imperativo affermativo e negativo; descrizioni: aggettivi; dare indicazioni; proibizioni e obblighi; por/para; a/en; pronomi personali, riflessivi, oggetto diretto, oggetto indiretto; possessivi; comparativi; interrogazione; esprimere preferenze: me gusta/me encanta, etc.; uso del condizionale semplice; futuro semplice e perifrastico; preterito imperfetto; passato remoto verbi regolari e irregolari; voce passiva; estar/tener; tempi composti; participi regolari e irregolari; trapassato prossimo; usi del congiuntivo; discorso indiretto; subordinate temporali, modali, finali e condizionali.
