Learning outcomes

The student is able to understand the activities related to safety in the management of information systems in the health sector.

-Definition, glossary and areas of intervention in clinical risk

-Epidemiology of adverse events

-The mistake in medicine (cultural aspects and classification)

Reason model, active errors and latent errors

Clinical Governance: objectives and work tools Methods and tools for identification, analysis (Reactive and proactive analysis) and risk management (IR, RCA, FMEA / FMECA)

Organization as a tool for error reduction

Assessment methods

The assessment of learning takes place through a final exam that verifies the acquisition of the knowledge and skills expected in the context of risk management procedures and company organization aimed at the safety of the diagnostic process, through an oral or written test that provides at least 3 open questions on the main topics covered during the lessons.

The test will be evaluated based on the following parameters:

- knowledge, mastery and deepening of the contents

- critical and expository capacity

- technical-scientific terminological correctness.
