Learning outcomes

The course is focused on general psychology and cognitive processes. Main topics will be history of psychology, research methodology, perception, memory, learning, reasoning and decision making,

 

Course contents

The aim of the course is to study the mind and the human behaviour. The principal themes of the course will be the history, the methods of the scientific psychology, perception, memory, thinking, decision making, knowledge representation and learning.

The course will take place during the first semester (from October to December 2016) at the Cesena Campus of the School of Psychology and Education (address: piazza A. Moro, 90)

Traditional lessons

Assessment methods

The exam is a written multiple-choice test lasting 45 minutes.
The test is composed by 60 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer the score is 0.50. Both a wrong answer and a question not answered will be evaluated 0 points. A right answer to all the 60 questions will result in 30 cum laude. Minimun score is 18.
