Course contents
The course aims at analyzing, from a critical perspective, Japanese
political, economical and social history in the
context of East Asia, from the mid-nineteenth century up to the
beginning of the twenty-first century.

Oral exam and discussion of a written essay (the
contents of which will be agreed upon during the lectures).
