Learning outcomes
Course participants will be able to analyse major issues in school and community psychology and to increase skills in project development and interventions in community and school settings.
Course contents
Total 10 credits, 75h.
The Laboratory is composed of 4 modules :
1 - METHODOLOGY AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
statistical analysis using SPSS software. Teacher: dott. Carlo
Tomasetto.
2 - COMMUNITY INTERVENTIONS
Analysis of community needs and development community-based interventions. Special focus on community resilience and prejudice reduction. Teacher: prof. Luca Pietrantoni.
3 - PROFESSIONAL TOOLS
Tools for networking in a community with local stakeholders. Tools
for psychological interventions in school and educational
settings.
4 - PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND DEONTOLOGY
Deontology in the psychological profession. Teacher: an external professional.

Teaching methods
Teaching methods will be lectures, in-class exercises, case
study, small group assignments, homeworks, assignments on
scientific papers. Students are expected to come to class prepared
and on time, ready to discuss and ask questions, and interested in
learning.

Assessment methods
Attendance
In-Class attendance is compulsory. Only 1 missed class for
every module is allowed. In-Class attendance will
be measured with signature.
Final exam
The final exam will be possible only for students with
in-class attendance.
