- Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Building Engineering (cod. 0921)
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide the tools necessary for the rational evaluation of the uses of building materials in the construction process and restoration. The student acquires the knowledge of the main physical and mechanical parameters of building materials and applies them in an autonomous way, finalizing the choice of materials also the durability of the work.

Teaching methods
Lectures. Some lessons will be dedicated to application drills
Assessment methods
The exam is divided into two separate verification tests.
Chemistry: the test consisting of a written part (multiple
choice questions and simple exercises) and oral.
Materials technology: the test consists of a single oral
test.
The oral examinations of chemistry and materials technology will
be held the same day to give the opportunity, to those who wanted
to, to hold both tests.
