After completing this module the student knows the tools to draw up a program of training of the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, is able to know the technical and tactical elements, the fundamentals and teaching progressions for. It is also able to administer the physical preparation adherent to the performance model of the sport in question.

Knowledge and outcomes


After completing this module the student knows the tools to draw up a program of training of the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, is able to know the technical and tactical elements, the fundamentals and teaching progressions for. It is also able to administer the physical preparation adherent to the performance model of the sport in question.


Program / Content


The student, who accesses this teaching, already knows the theory and methodology of training, as well as the pedagogical principles that govern a modern teaching and is guided through them to master the techniques, tactics, behaviors and preparation psycho- physics needed to reach competitive targets entry-level.

The course material consists of the "Manual for the Technician level 2 Ultimate" published by the Italian Flying Disc Federation and distributed in class.


Teaching Methods

 

The teaching consists of lectures and practical classes. The lectures provide a close interaction between the teacher and students and are arranged so as to better represent the situation in which you will find the coach of Ultimate. In detail, the lectures are used to determine the path that the coach is called to walk with his students, attracting and assembling concepts already absorbed during the studies.
In particular we will explore the following themes:


The Team or build identity, manage it, planning to train her season and workouts

1.    The athletic training

o   The definition of the performance model

o   The objectives of physical preparation on Ultimate

o   The specific means of training the various motor skills

o   The programming of the preparation or

o   The practical lessons aim to master the technique and tactics in a didactic and in particular

3.    Attack: the roles in the field
