Learning outcomes
On the assumption of an already acquired basic knowledge of private law, the course aims to examine the most important civil institution, which will be explained in light of the doctrinal and jurisprudential contribution. The primary objective of the course is therefore to allow students to achieve more analytical skills, to undertake a systematic reconstruction of the matter and to acquire a method of critical analysis of both doctrine and jurisprudence.
Course contents
The Coure, lasting one year, aims to provide students with deep knowledge of the fundamental institutions of civil law and inter-relationshhips between them. The goal toward which the Course aims is also that of providing students with methodological tools for better understanding of the topics covered and develop an autonomous capacity for reasoned analysis of the various statutory institutions. Teaching methods
Classes will be held by prof. Michele Sesta, tenurer of the course, and Dr. Alessandra Spangaro, holder of a teaching module.
Teachings will be divided into lectures and related activities designed to encourage student involvement. The lectures will be conducted by a systematic exposition of the subject matter of course, according to the program above.
In this case study analysis, attending students, will be invited to participate actively, who, if they so wish, will actively report and produce reports to illustrate the results obtained. Students attending will also be invited to prepare written papers, in order to acquire adequate skill in the topics covered.
Assessment methods
Classes are held on an annual basis and, therefore, those who obtain the certificate of attendance in the current academic year will take the exam in the month of May.
The final exam will be exclusively oral.
Presences will be done by collecting signatures.

Teaching tools
In order to facilitate the assimilation of concepts, through the display of the logical relations which includes the illustration of the institutes will be accompanied by the presentation of slides in PowerPoint to support teaching.
