Learning outcomes

Knowledge of anatomo-functional mechanism of image formation and of binocular visione; knowledge of pathogenesis and treatment of amblyopia, of anatomo-functional foundations of colour vision and light perception; pratical testing of light and colour perception.

Binocular vision and vergence movements; sensory fusion; motor fusion; stereopsis; horopter; Panum's area; Anomalies of binocularity in strabismus: confusion and diplopia; Suppression and anomalous retinal correspondence, anomalous binocular vision, pseudo-Panum's area
