Learning outcomes

Taking this class the student will come to know some classical and some contemporary philosophical views of language.

Course contents

Four philosophers of language across the 17th and the 18th centuries, and one XXth century philosopher of language.


(DAMS students) For the half class on Analysis of Visual Communication go to the class with that name.

Lectures, as already said, and besides a class discussion on some text the
student will be required to read before hand.
