To acquire the tools of environmental policies aimed to Sustainable Development: (EMS, Ecolabels, processes and products LCA,..)
To acquire the fundamentals of pollutants dispersion in the environment
Course contents
Environmental mamanagement
-Sustainable development and green engineering; DPSIR scheme for the the aanalysis and the control of pollution processes;
-UE environmental policy;
-LCA in the analysis of processes and products;
-voluntary actions for the environment protection: Environmental Management Systems (EMAS, ISO14001), products policy (Ecolabel, IPP)
-permits' system: VIA (EIA), VAS , AIA;
-IPPC: rolo of control authority and of plant manager; BAT and limits and control policies in permitting.
- Green House effect: fundamental physical aspects, actions for the reduction of GHG emissions in the framework of Kyoto protocol
Pollutant environmental dispersion
-environmental fate of pollutants and distribution among differen environmental compartments:
-fundamentals of pollutants dispersion in surface waters and in undergroung waters;
-fundamentals of atmospheric dispersion of pollutants
