Course contents

The difficult tasks of understanding, diagnosing and treating human beings after they committed a crime will be dealt with the help of techniques able to answer relevant questions regarding personality assessment. In this sense, in order to study the cruel deeds of a woman serial killer, the course will focus on the case of Leonarda Cianciulli.

Subsequently, the drug addiction problems of young people will be treated starting from the consideration of the possible intervention strategies. This subject involves a lot of problems concerning vulnerability and  the new poverty.

Defining organized crime is perhaps more problematic because of the difficulty in distinguishing for any other than academic purposes between the categories of organized crime and white-collar crime. Legality will be increasingly irrelevant in an international market immune to any moral perspective other than profit.

The course is divided into three parties: one by Prof.ssa Roberta Bisi  (3 CFU, 18 hours of lesson), one by dr. Sandra Sicurella (3 CFU, 18 hours of lesson), one by dr. Giovanna Fanci (3 CFU, 18 hours of lesson).
